Arlington Incorporates New Official Logo

The City of Arlington has a new logo. The capital letter A remains a prominent element that now includes a larger star and richer colors.

Arlington City Council member Kathryn Wilemon said the new logo reflects a more modern, vibrant city. Wilemon chairs the City’s Municipal Policy Committee, which saw an opportunity to update the city’s logo and incorporate the new design into several projects, including Interstate 30 and co-branding on an elevated storage tank.

This week, the new logo is being painted on the elevated storage tank at 318 N. Collins St. near downtown Arlington and the future Cowboys Stadium. The tank also includes official logos for the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys and University of Texas at Arlington. This project, which also includes tank renovation and repairs, is scheduled for completion in July.
